Clumsy Hands

For the life of me, I don’t remember why I call myself Clumsy Hands…

Maybe I’m cool (I’m not) and mysterious (notorious oversharer), or maybe my parents are Hollywood A-listers who lost their minds in the 90s, whatever the reason, the name has stuck, and here I am, selling chaotic maps that take of months of immersive research, careful planning and meticulous painting

I loathe talking about myself as an artist and find using words like "aesthetic" and "juxtaposition" to describe my practice feel foreign to who I am and what I do. My work isn’t deep or full of hidden metaphors and symbols that I can spin into a compelling novella. It's just what makes me happy to paint whilst combining my loves of history, world-building, cheekiness and travel. If it makes you happy too, well, that's a great bonus.
